Fastcold has taken a green approach to its way of working. Since 2018, the company has been totally carbon-free and equipped with a connected system of photovoltaic panels (100 Kw), solar thermal collectors and heat pumps (100 Kw capacity) that allows it to self-sustain its energy consumption.
In practice, Fastcold does not consume any fossil energy, using only renewable energy and putting the surplus energy produced back into the grid.
Non-polluting cleaning systems are implemented in the panel production process.
A design team evaluates the complete systems, also considering their environmental impact, to obtain efficient production systems that avoid energy waste and lower disposal costs. The choice of raw materials is also fundamental: Fastcold uses polyurethanes that are completely free of CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) and HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons).
